Riding on the success of a domestic release, the ONE PIECE FILM RED anime is ready to take the international market by storm — starting with a massive New York Times Square billboard takeover.
Timed with New York Comic Con, a full ad campaign is set to start on October 8 from 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. EST. and will see multiple digital billboards with a countdown animation with all the Straw Hat Pirates with multiple memorable scenes. Said to be the largest out-of-home advertisement campaign in ONE PIECE series history, this marketing push sets up the North American release that’s slated for November 4.
The film was already released in Japan on August 6, 2022, where it to date has amassed a box office revenue of ¥15.8 billion JPY (approximately $110 million USD).
